A Darling Anniversary Lunch at La Frasca

As many of you know, our 4 year anniversary is right around the corner and we have been so busy. la Frasca re-opening for lunch was SO perfect. They are now open at 11:30AM and their summer fares are delicious - sometimes it’s easier to grab a quick lunch than a full dinner. They are very conscious of the times and our meals were so quick.

What we got:

🌈 Capesante

🌈 Beef Tenderloin

🌈 Linguine Aglio e Olio

Everything, down to the garnishes were unbelievable. The Beef Tenderloin was cooked to perfection, but each bite was better than the last. Even the shallots on top were caramelized delightfully.

It’s definitely a fun atmosphere for lunches, especially. Sometimes a mid-day pick me up is exactly what you need. The Chef truly is gifted and you can tell he is passionate about it ALL.

Their new chef is bringing his pure talent all the way from ITALY! 🇮🇹 so basically he’s bringing all his inside knowledge of the Italian Biz to Halifax. Welcome ♥️

John Michael - our server was an absolute pleasure. Not only were his recommendations SPOT ON, but his description of the dishes IN DEPTH was impressive. When I asked about the lemon dessert, he commented on the custard and the shell in so much detail. He recommended the chocolate cake - which was to die for.

Also if you can’t decide - they have a SECRET MENU! You can get 4 desserts in a “taster” tray style. Yep, you can try four different deserts so you don’t miss out on any (but let’s be real, the chocolate cake is what you should get!)
