The Garden Food Bar & Lounge Experience to-go

I’ve been looking for options for delivery and take-out (like many people are). I don’t do delivery often but closer to the end of my next grocery pick-up (or if there are items I’m not able to get) it certainly is hard to plan for full meals.

The Garden Food Bar & Lounge gave me such an amazing experience and even better food. Their website is made for the easy of choosing and delivery options. They have everything from vegan dishes to chicken stir frys. They also have meals that you are able to put in your fridge / freezer and cook at a later date.

I chose the family of 4 pack which is $89 for two bottles of wine, stirfry, salads and garlic toast. To be honest, I love cooking stir fry and I rarely choose it when I am eating out but I would 100% order this delicious sesame ginger chicken stir fry again. It was FULL of flavour, the veggies were not soggy.. The salad was so fresh and the flavours were unlike any salad I have ever had.. I believe there was toasted seeds on it, it was just so good and everyone knows I love garlic bread.

We got my sister-in-law a vegan lasagna which she enjoyed very much.. Definitely a great spot for vegans on the go.

Many of you do not know but The Garden Food Bar & Lounge is under new ownership taken over by the brother of the original owner. I have watched him speak at conferences and his passion for Halifax and it’s people is unbelievable. This is more than a restaurant to him, it’s a way to make people smile.. It’s a way for him to connect with the community. He is helping cook and put the meals together, he is taking orders, answering phones, cleaning. He does so much more than you would ever believe.

This is definitely one of my new fav spots for delivery right now, during this pandemic. I can not wait until this is all over so I can visit and spend some time in the actual restaurant that is decorated like a palace and a garden.. Absolutely excited.
